growing butterflies
a couple of times a year i find big yellow/green caterpillars
chomping on the italian parsley
in my herb garden
i relocate them to a big jar
put some fresh parsley inside
add one stick per caterpillar
cover jar lid with tulle
after a few days of munching
they attach themselves
to the stick & make the cocoon
i then wait & watch
until one day
voile
beautiful butterflies
released to the back yard
a small miracle - big, really
