GOOD MORNING FROM THE HERB GARDEN       
Beatrix Potter
(almost 4 lbs.)
 loves the herb garden
& wasn't crazy
about the big loud blender

Today is the day for making pesto
with basil & parsley
from my herb garden

Add garlic, p cheese,
toasted pine nuts
first cold press olive oil
basil & parsley
in an industrial blender
&
oh, so very yummy
on just about everything
The chef approves!
a magical kitchen &
 some homegrown goodness
do you think the "chef"
will grill outside tonight?
(pesto is my dish!)

NOTE TO SELF:  make rosemary/orange pesto next!
