i'm thinking that this would be a good title

i think i'll paint the iron & brass headboard

it's good quality, heavy & good shape

however, i was thinking that it needed

an update - to look older & vintage

sooo - i mixed up some chalk paint

& my secret recipe for tea staining

(floetrol is involved)

i'm loving the results

old & vintage & time woren

it so compliments the

 white wide plank walls!

growing butterflies

 a couple of times a year i find big yellow/green caterpillars

chomping on the italian parsley

in my herb garden

i relocate them to a big jar

put some fresh parsley inside

add one stick per caterpillar

cover jar lid with tulle

after a few days of munching

they attach themselves

to the stick & make the cocoon

i then wait & watch

until one day

voile

 beautiful butterflies

released to the back yard

a small miracle - big, really

be a friend to paint

be a friend to color

be a friend to having

beautiful things you

love surrounding you

it' fun - & magical!

just called my name on

pinterest

sometimes i try to not put it either

in something or on something

that i am working on

well, more times than not

just a dash or shake

of glitter is what

is needed for

magic!

im thinking that i need some

vitameatavegamin

for my allergies

saw on pinterest

that marshmellows help with

sore scratchy throat

tried it - it does work

but vitameatavegamin might bee

way more fun!

i said, "think i'll paint the refrigerator"
 skeptics said, "oh, you don't want to do that"
me, "oh, yes, i do"
taking the old mundane things of
everyday life
& making them magical
kinda like dr. seuss
"oh, the places you will go"
me, "oh, the things that i will paint"

after completing the side & left door

& having a family wedding & spending

some fun time in Savannah

it was time to put the

creative talents of cousins

to work

this girl can paint & we so often

put our ideas & artistic abilities

together to create

pure magic

exhausting.

therefore i am painting tired things to look older,

thus fresher & new

praying for our nation

our brave military

&

their families

forget the heat

eat more ice cream
