our hearts are grateful
welcome home soldier
the whole family is on the continental shores
of the USA
this military family rejoices
safe from
war, deployments, earthquakes & storms
there is so much to remember at this time of year
not only for our nation, but for our family
but for a while the yellow ribbon on our lamp post
is rescued from the brutal Texas heat
as we sing
our praises that all are safe
please continue to pray for our brave military
GOD BLESS AMERICA

truly amazing
something rarely seen in this castle
can you guess?
friends were amazed
couldn't believe it
a clear surface on the dining room table!!!
i had to check it again this morning just to bee sure
no, i am not depressed or suffering from creative meltdown
just thought it was kind of fun
letting the surface "rest" so to speak
this only happened one other time:
when kids were in high school
they came home to find a blank tabletop
"are you mad at us? - is something wrong?"
this non creative mode is something
unlike any other!!!
so way funny

for the love
two containers of pencils
just guess which one i adore
for the love of old
loving vintage typewriter
ribbons hard to find
sooo - using everyday
wireless keyboard
I love old things, ones that were made
to last, and have lasted. I love them
because they bring me closer to the past
from which I grew, and to those who
made and used them. I love them
because I admire ingenuity, skill, and
design, and because I feel that it is right
to cherish that which has been cherished
by those who came before me.

the messiness of construction
Brazos Star Homes
with this summer heat (100+for 44 days)
it has been some time
since I've been out to see
the homes my son builds
today's tour showed the hard work
that so many have done to build these houses
what a blessing to have all completed homes SOLD
the projects are massive & the end product beautiful
but oh, the mess of progress!
how will you ever get this cleaned up?
it does get cleaned up,
landscaped &
listed for sale
& bought!
GOOD JOB, A
proud of you
now on to 9
under construction
(or soon to be)

or to invite someone to FBCW.
also
order your FBCW tee shirt
& you will be set & ready

a kitchen with vintage baby is not less sticky,
but it is a reminder of our heritage
this is the centerpiece for the dinner table
I SPY jar of things to spy
outside lemonade stand with
pink camo garland
also sold from lemonade stand:
shells, mudpies, rocks, mermaid dolls
during my life as a mother, I've done many
birthday parties
themed to the hilt,
my Daddy was always so helpful
in making
props that I needed
to pull off a creative,
fun festivity
this lollipop stand
has graced many celebrations
he also made one in the
shape of a star for the boys
Dining Room table still sporting
"It's a pink pink pink pink world"
just not quite ready
to replace it
ohoh, saw on Pinterest
the exact vintage pink
stove, refrig, & sink!!
